With the impending release of the QUERP Player's Companion, we are wondering what you would like to see next for QUERP. Although we have a few ideas, what would you like us to produce? New adventures? Maybe a solo adventure or two? Something completely different? You tell us!

1. Hammerax. I'm interested in seeing a setting designed specifically for QUERP. Currently, I'm using the Harn setting by Columbia Games which has the right low-magic background that IMO best suits QUERP but I'm really interested in seeing how the rules play in an official setting.

2. Adventures. A harried game master can never have enough canned modules to fall back on. :)

3. Since one setting book will probably not be able to cover an entire game world in detail, regional books giving more detail to areas of Hammerax might be a viable product.

4. Variants of the QUERP system such as modern or sci-fi rules. But by the nature of these settings, the rules would be somewhat more complex to address modern/futuristic society and equipment.

Regards,

V

G'day V,

This is something I have considered, but as you said it is a challenge in finding a balance between the complexities needed for these settings and the 'Quick Easy' part of the rules.

Rest assured, though, Hammerax will be the next book :)

Hey guys,

I am working on QUERP - Games Master's Companion (QGMC) at this very moment. Lots of ideas going in there for adventure plots, running adventures, game world ideas etc.

Might be as useful as the old DMG... but I doubt it

1. I'd like to have all the books in a hardcover and/ or full colour print format.

2. New treasures (maybe on cards?)

3. traps (maybe on cards?)

4. New spells (maybe on cards?)

5. New monsters.

6 :D . A plot generator or plot campaigns, like these of the Savage Worlds RPG (they are so easy to use)! It's fun to create an adventure rolling dice on tables.

Please don't make the game complicated. It must stay easy to learn.

7. Event tables or cards to fill in the scenario, like those in Dungeon Crawl.

While I wouldn't object to full color and/or hardback editions, I rather like the current books' format. It reminds me of the Basic/Expert D&D books that introduced me to rpgs many years ago, and the books are much more affordable as softbacks. However, it would be nice if the books from Lulu were made using printer-friendly pdfs rather than just gray scale printing the color pdfs. The gray scale pages tend to appear too dark at times, especially parts of the main rule book. A straight-forward black ink on white pages presentation would be easier on the eyes.

Regards,

V

The Hammerax book may be the first the has a different layout; though I haven't spoken about this with Jamie, who will do the layout, I have a vision for what the Hammerax book will look like.
