We are pleased to announce that the QUERP Player's Companion is having the finishing touches added to it now. This tome contains new character types for you to choose, as well as rules for non-human races. In addition, new equipment and an advanced characters section is included for those who want more control over their characters.

The Player's Companion should be available in the next month or so.

I'm busy finishing off the illustrations as we speak. Have a look at the new page added today (Greywood Artwork) for some sneaky peeks at some of the character type illustrations.

Nice artwork. The Alchemist picture conveys a nicely creepy mood. The forest fire and Day of Reckoning pictures are also well done.

Regards,

V

The Alchemist picture is my desktop background currently :) It seems to be a favourite of people who see it.

I want to buy the print edition of the Bestiary and the Companion, from Lulu. When will they be available?

According to the Greywood Publishing site, both the Companion and the Bestiary have been temporarily been removed from sale. I was ready to order a copy of the new book, too.

V

There was a bit of an issue with these two books, which Jamie is working hard to rectify.

Drive-Thru has the Players Companion for sale now! Very nice book, guys! I like the new character creation rules and will want to give the 21 point buy system a try. I'm also pleased with the increased number of spells and the new special abilities, including the customized character creation rules.

The only major flaw that I've noticed is that the Necromancer is missing his spell list. I can spot some of the spells in the master list and spell descriptions, but am not sure exactly how many spells this class will have at character creation.

Looking forward to ordering a hardcopy from Lulu whenever they make it available!

Regards,

V

Gah! You are kidding!?!

Will attempt to fix ASAP. The spells are: Banish the Dead, Bone Spear, Drain Life, Raise the Dead, Resurrection, and Vile Curse.

As for Lulu, it is on it's way... we just have to get the Bestiary back up first.

The updated Player's Companion (with the missing Necromancer spells) should be available now. If you have bought it you can download the new version for free.

Thanks for the feedback too mate. Let us know when you get a chance to test it all out! As always, if you'd like to leave a review (good or bad) we would appreciate it!

My review is up on Drive-Thru.

I let one of my players have a look at the Companion this afternoon and he was completely won over by the Advanced Character rules. He has been playing in my campaign but felt the character options from the main book didn't allow him to play his character concept. Within about 3 minutes of reading the Advanced section, he was able to assemble exactly the character he wanted!

Regards,

V
