I am really enjoying the game, but I have a few questions about the rules:

1) When you cast a spell, do you discard the spell card or keep it?

2) The Ranger character class starts with one spell but says he can have up to two spell cards at a time. How do you gain additional spell cards?

3) Will the followers from the forest expansion follow you into the dungeon?

Spell cards are always discarded once they have been cast.



There are various ways to gain spells: you may find some in the abandoned wizard'd tower (special event); The sorcerer follower gives you spells (special event card); there are spell scrolls in the treasure cards that give you spells (NOT the fighter though).



Yes they will except the Elf. BUT, if she is with you and you do decide to go in the dungeon she will go to the discard pile along with the griffon or the friendly wolf.
